I am Kate Hillmon, Founder & Principal of Hillmon Recruiting, a boutique executive search firm specializing in commercial banking talent.
Throughout my recruiting career, I have partnered with organizations to identify, attract, and place high-performing professionals across a variety of leadership levels. This experience has shaped a relationship-driven and consultative approach that helps clients build strong teams and achieve their growth objectives.
My focus is on commercial banking executive search. I partner with community and regional banks to recruit exceptional Commercial Relationship Managers, Market Presidents, Chief Credit Officers, Credit Leaders, Portfolio Managers, Treasury Management professionals, and other key banking executives.
My approach is built on understanding each client's culture, strategic goals, and leadership needs. By taking the time to understand both organizations and candidates, I am able to create lasting matches that support long-term success.
Based in Washington and serving clients throughout California, the Pacific Northwest, and select markets nationwide, I combine industry expertise with a personalized search process designed to deliver exceptional results. I am also currently completing my MBA at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, further strengthening my understanding of business strategy, leadership, and organizational growth.
Outside of recruiting, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children in the Pacific Northwest. Whether I'm participating in CrossFit, mountain biking, skiing, or exploring the outdoors with my family, I value the discipline, resilience, and strong relationships that are also at the heart of my professional approach.
